The Telescopio Nazionale Galileo (TNG) is an observing facility of the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) and is located at the Roque de Los Muchachos in la Palma, one of the westernmost Canary Islands. TNG is an open observatory serving the international astronomical community through periodical announcements of opportunity and is managed by the Fundacion Galileo Galilei - INAF since 2005.
Operational since 1999, the TNG 3.6 m telescope is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments to perform imaging and spectroscopy, both in the visible and infrared wavelengths.
This myTNG APP, available both in Italian and English, is part of the INAF outreach program and provides
-a picture gallery with a selection of the best images collected by the TNG,
-a graphic view of the sky currently above the TNG
-a news section continously updated
-a 360 deg image of the Roque de los Muchachos observing site
